February 27: Lacey, WA - Mental Illness and the Justice System

This half-day CLE will help you understand how the state’s legal system responds to people with mental illness, provide you with an opportunity to hear directly from mental health consumers, discuss the barriers to treatment, as well as explain the impact of legal financial obligations and the ethical challenges in representing people with mental illnesses.
This program is open to public defenders, investigators, social workers, prosecutors and members of law enforcement.
