March 11: San Francisco - Removal Defense Waivers and Prosecutorial Discretion: Getting the Results You Want in Immigration Court

Part of ALRP’s new Immigration Training Series. Because all of our clients are living with HIV/AIDS and many are LGBT, we are frequently approached by people who have suffered abuse and intolerance in their countries of origin who are seeking protection in the United States. This training will offer a primer on removal defense with a focus on waivers and prosecutorial discretion. The presentation will include sample forms and submissions.

All active ALRP Panel Attorneys and associates at partner pro bono law firms are welcome to attend any of ALRP’s free MCLE trainings. Attorneys who are not currently members of the Panel are requested to join our Panel and accept two ALRP referrals in the next year. Pre-registration is required to attend.
